"Beautiful place. We loved the fact that it's 799 years old, thinking about all the people that have come and gone before us enjoying the same space. Pretty grounds right on the river Dee. Old cemetery and remains of a chapel right behind for exploring. Natural beauty all around. Staff was welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a suite and everything met our expectations. "Sea view with sliding door was fantastic. The room was quite tired looking with wallpaper peeling off the wall and old cupboards. Breakfast was lovely with great quality ingredients especially the haggis and black pudding. Staff were very friendly and chatty."
