"Its very budget basic and could be doing with a paint, no kettle in room, but can get hot drinks from reception and there is a greggs right next door. There isnt an iron in the room but the hotel said there is an ironing room that guests can have access to 24/7. We just took our own travel iron. There is a hairdryer in the room but no plugs near the mirror so bit difficult when styling hair, straightners etc, but not exactly a major issue. The room its self was absolutely fine for our weekend stay, and when in Liverpool you really dont spend too much time in the hotel anyway so basically just some where to sleep, get showered and changed and then off out again. The location is very central, and the hotel has a deal with the local Moorfields car park with a decent discount which was ideal. All in all a pleasant enough stay and I would stay here again. The price was mist certainly the cheapest, especially for a friday to monday stay! We paid £15 at check in for a later check out at 1pm."

"My stay was good. I would have loved if it were great. I had 2 single beds moved together to form a kingsize bed and being a couple using the bed. It made it somewhat uncomfortable rolling around the bed The buffet was good, unfortunately the machine doesn't have hot chocolate, you are left with either the choice of a coffee or tea - so if you are trying to stay away from caffeine with being pregnant, you have to make do with water or the apple/orange juice. If i wanted hot chocolate, they were selling it downstairs.. I have stayed in orher Novotels and i think this is my first experience with this. When the room is cleaned, the cutlery and glass cups are not cleaned, just left as used knowing there is no washing liquid that can be used to wash them. Would I recommend? Reluctantly! Could be great with a few emphatic steps. "
