Nice Hotel...

The Hotel is perfect for a family vacation! There are plenty of activities and much attention to youngsters. It needs some improvements though...the personnel is waaay low standards!

Just OK

Posted 08-Nov-2014
Pros: Water slides were really fun. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was good.
Cons: The buffet could be improved with more variety and less repetition. The coffee machines were terrible and need to be replaced. Pools need to be heated
Location: Located in a string of hotels across street from boardwalk and beach. Beautiful boardwalk with shops and restaurants and beautiful beach.
I rate this hotel as a 3-star. The rooms were clean and the beds were fairly comfortable, but nothing special. All rooms are designed for two people. Our party of 5 (2 parents, 2 kids, and my brother) was split into adjoining rooms. The twin beds were pushed together in one room for the parents and the other room had the twin beds separated for my brother and older son. We had to have an extra bed brought in for our younger son. The lobby area is nice but small and was the location of evening activities. As for the evening activities - meh, at best. As for the food, we were pleased the first two days. The breakfast has a nice buffet - eggs, pastries, fresh squeezed OJ, cornmeal pancake things that were great. Lunch usually had a grill going outside. Dinner was less impressive. However, after day 2 all meals repeated. The grill options at lunch were the same every other day. Dinner, while having a different 'theme' every night was pretty much the same every night. The pools seemed like the place to be. Every pool chair was claimed no later than 10am every day. There are nice big water water slides that are really fun. Only downsides are the pools are frigid and the slides only operate at certain hours during the day. The beach was across the street and gorgeous, despite some trash. Not a long walk, and through low-key tourist shop area. This hotel has a roped private area away from the water. We spent a lot of time on the beach and boardwalk area. It was really nice and safe.

Hôtel 2 étoiles...

Posted 17-Sep-2014

Great location and friendly staff

This hotel was comfortable although they didn't clean the rooms very well each day and for the 5 nights we were there thy didn't change the sheets once! The breakfast was a reasonable selection although the same every day but I loved the mint tea (man sitting on the floor serving) and the fresh oj. The pool area is huge with enough space for everyone. There were lot of Russian, German, and French. Would I stay there again??? Probably not but thats only because I want to try something new.

Honest review.

Went for a relaxing week with my wife. All staff were friendly and helpful although reception was often quite busy. Despite the majority of guests being French speaking all staff speak passable English, especially those who have guest interaction (reception, porters, restaurant, entertainment). The room was a a good size and the bed (two 3ft locked together) huge. The description for the bathroom was a little confusing and you might think there are a 'separate' bath and shower, but the shower is part of the bath. The evening entertainment was mostly in French but with snake charming you don't really need to know what was being said. The good was good, there was always a nice range of options to choose from. However (seeing there are quite a few negative comments about the food on here) I will add that this isn't food with the look and feel that you might get if you bought it from Sainsbury; there is, obviously, a Moroccan / French interpretation to it. For example, on the Italian night the spaghetti bolognese had minimal meat in it. It was almost always tasty, just not quite what you might expect.

Hotel passable
