"It was a clean, modern, well appointed hotel. Great buffet breakfast, and convenient pub/restaurant for dinner. All staff was very nice. The only drawback is that it is a little off the beaten track, as far as a variety of shops, museums, and other restaurants. "

"Check-in was easy & room was clean. Room is in need of some updating—paint, stained carpet, etc, but it is clean, spacious & a beautiful view. Dinner & service at The Dock was awful for the price. My shrimp was not a lime scampi, but frozen fried tough shrimp. Server was unfriendly and the food for the price was horrendous. Complete waste of money. Aldo sells better frozen shrimp I am sure. Location is beautiful & overall hotel is nice. Just don’t eat here."

"We had an amazing few days away at the Majestic Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the welcome and service we received was amazing. The friendliness of the staff was like nothing we have experienced before. Nothing was too much trouble, no matter how busy they were on a very busy St. Patrick’s Weekend. "Lovely hotel. Very clean. Excellent and very friendly service. Nice view out to the garden and river. Bed wasn't the comfiest but everything else was great. We had a lovely relaxing break away. We also really enjoyed the swimming pool and treatments in the leisure centre. "

"All staff very efficient and pleasant. The only downsides were the small portions of chips at dinner and the pool which was cold. My daughter and husbands dinner had child size portions not value for the money charged. Also in this sort of hotel there should be a warmish pool,you wouldn't stay long in it. Also I couldn't see why after staying and 4 people having dinner and several drinks why I couldn't use the pool on the afternoon of check out. We both found that there was noise in this...
