"Brilliant 5* service. I got there late, they were no longer serving food. Pleaded with the manager and a meal was prepared for me. "

"The refurbished room was really nice, very clean. Check in was easy and all staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the use of the pool, the staff there were kind to my kids. "

"A really welcoming group of people and a quick check in. Typical character building with wonky creaky floors but loads of charm. A bit cold in the room at first but soon warmed up with the heater. Lovely amenities and a great bathroom too. Good pub food for dinner, breakfast was OK (hard boiled poached eggs will always get a point deducted I’m afraid). Will definitely stay again though."
