"I like the space and cleanenss of the room. And staffs were friendly even though they can't speak English well. The conditions of the hotel especially the room was old and rusty but overall it was acceptable and ok. Swimming pool and breakfast buffet were good."

"The room, bed, pools are all great and very comfortable. Getting to the room was a bit tiring because we had to climb 3 floors by stairs, and from room to the lobby takes some walking distance. Breakfast was ok. "

"The hotel is in Shimey Bay, on the beach, far from the crowded cities. Definitely stylish, European hotel, looks like a big bungalow, as opposed to the nearby Westin Hotel, which looks like bunch of concrete blocks. Exceptionally well trained staff!! Chris at the reception helped me with organizing our transportation to Haikou Airport. She also help me withdraw some cash from the bankomat. We got a very good deal on the room through Expedia."

"Wonderful trip with my family of 5 to Sanya. The staff is as amazing and checked on us daily. The food was delicious and New Years Eve did not disappoint. My only recommendation is that they stock the bars with more cold drinks. We had to walk to get sodas that they happened to have. No coke and just a variety of coldish cans of sodas. Otherwise a fabulous trip! "

"The large spacious rooms were perfect for staying with teens. The hotel was located in a quiet and peaceful area. The Thai restaurant was amazing and were careful to prepare dishes according to allergies. The pools were clean and the evening foam party was added fun. The only downside was there were limited dining options and no pool bar to order drinks or food while swimming. "

"I stayed in Mangrove hotel together with my wife for a short holiday. When checking in, we were told that we booked a twin room instead of a double room, but our reservation clearly showed Queen bed. Front Desk Receptionists Freya, William and Jessi immediately somved it and upgraded us a a family suite with 2 floors. We really enjoyed our stay in Mangrove and recommend this hotel for people traveling to Sanya."

"Very disappointing that mostly all amenities and pool were closed due to maintenance. The reason we chose this place was due to it’s amenities since you can’t swim in the ocean yet we couldn’t even use the main pools"
