"What a great find! Stayed two nights at this beautiful heritage listed (1500’s) hotel and cannot fault it. From the staff to the rooms (quite small but had everything we needed and very comfortable) to the restaurant and the hotels many and varied public rooms, everything was excellent. The town is such a lovely old town with a number of sites to visit as well. We are very happy that we found this hotel. "

"The Pilgrim Inn has a lot charm. The Fuller Pub has great food and drinks at very reasonable prices. The room unfortunately had old, dirty furniture and our toilet would not flush properly. We stayed there several years ago and would consider staying there again but I would hope that the above problems would be resolved. "

"We had a lovely stay,however we were slightly disappointed that the breakfast was cold.I had an unfortunate experience when drying my hair with the hairdryer,sparks and flames came flying out which was a concern, mentioned this to reception and was told it had been pat tested only recently However it wont put us off staying again."

"Beautiful setting in a country house right in the village of Burley. Walk past green pastures,along the driveway and you are there. Sit on the front patio and watch the deer walk by, and eat right in front of you. Two comfortable lounges, and a Bar, really nice Dining Room. Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu's. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Tea and Expresso, complimentary water and sparkling water."

"The price was great and the reviews were accurate. The menu solidified the decision. Enjoyed some well-made Old Fashioned, as well. The staff were exceptional in every endeavour. If the in the area again, I know where I will be staying again. Impressed. "

"Very small room but comfy needed facilities to be able to sit and eat if wanted but no room to do so. Facilities very limited. Breakfast was amazing though and nice en-suite. Fabulous location too."

"Great location and friendly staff. Rooms are largely comfortable and clean with a good shower to get freshened up. Our air con was a little noisy but we only stayed the one night so didn't mention it. The wait for elevators can be long during peak periods. Would definitely stay here again though. "

"We love this hotel very clean and friendly team. The breakfast is amazing !! Unfortunately this time There was a wedding party the weekend with some loud guests who felt the need to be singing in room early hours ( after 2pm ) so sleep disturbances in the night "
