"Peaceful location. From the moment we arrived the hostess, Jo, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The room was clean with good facilities and refreshments. The property is conveniently located for visiting Alton Towers (less than a 10min drive). Would strongly recommend a stay at The Beehive Guest House if visiting the area."

"Stayed for 3 nights. We received a warm welcome on arrival. Room was attractive, and of a good size, and the provision of bottled water in the room was a lovely touch. Well stocked hospitality tray too. Bathroom was well appointed. Only issue we had was that when showering after 9.30 pm, the hot water only came out as luke warm; by morning it was lovely and hot. "I didn’t eat so can't rate that aspect of stay but reception was very friendly and appeared very organised. Room was fine though bathroom could do with updating. The toilet roll holder was not in an easy place to reach and the towel rail was extremely high. "

"A gem of a place to stay within a beautiful area. Beds and showers were really good but both dining and self-catering facilities needs improvement. We used the hostel as a base to explore the surrounding area and walks so it was perfect for us."
