"The location and overall appeal of this hotel is excellent. The staff are friendly and professional and the room was really nice, comfortable bed and very clean. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 was the breakfast. It was very expensive for what it was, and a proper buffet style approach might have worked better - especially if you only want a light breakfast. However that said we would stay again and would recommend, maybe just eat breakfast at one of the many local cafes! "

"This was a trip with our dogs which turned out to be outstanding. Super dog friendly hotel and staff. Room overlooking the cricket ground with good balcony ( apart from glass sides). Match on the Friday was an education for a non cricket person. Walks for muts were fabulous and straight from hotel. Breakfast was very pleasant. All in all a very nice stay and a huge surprise as the Hilton didn’t feel like a huge soulless chain. Will stay again. "

"Close to cruise port & centrally located. Hotel had excellent staff. Older gentleman at front desk, gave us a marked map, helped with planning our walking tour of city & museums & got us taxi transportation to London at a cheaper rate. I highly recomend this hotel."

"We love this hotel very clean and friendly team. The breakfast is amazing !! Unfortunately this time There was a wedding party the weekend with some loud guests who felt the need to be singing in room early hours ( after 2pm ) so sleep disturbances in the night "

"From check in to check out, the service provided was excellent. The staff were ever helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The food options ranged from exceptional restaurant to bar snacks, all of which were delicious. The ‘sports facilities’ were limited but more than adequate. Lovely walk around the estate. "Rooms are quite small but well presented and comfortable. Very convenient location if you are traveling into or out of Portsmouth by sea. Great parking and excellent bar and fitness facilities."

"The rooms had no natural light due to the windows/balconies overlooking the inside restaurant and bar. This was very strange and also meant we lacked privacy. Other than this everything was fine. "

"The one problem was the check in time. 3 p.m. suits car drivers but not train travellers , they have to carry suitcases around for some time if they if they arrive earlier."

"Staying was okay but l was told that, Friday night was free parking that £5:00 will be taken from my account for Thursday parking only. Looking at my account, £5 and another £10 was taken from my card. Can you refund my £10 please. Thanks."
