"The place was nice, but very hot, wish we knew we could have had brunch outside because the bar was too warm. the rooms were very hot, we were given fans, but it made very little difference. Bar area in the evening was very warm. Spa was great, food and service was good."

"Perfect for my visit to Reading. Five minutes walks form the station and close to shops and local sites. Delightful friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Clean. comfortable spacious room and pleasant lounge area. Very good breakfast in bright, pleasant dinging room. The bedroom area was quiet and peaceful and I felt safe and secure in the hotel. Thank you."

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Mansion House which had a lovely rustic feel but was also very clean and modern. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. We didn't use any facilities but had a look around and everything looked brand new! Would love to stay here again. "

"Very small rooms and no drink facilities such as a kettle, bed uncomfortable as kept moving and making a gap between headhead. Also only 1 pillow which wasnt suitable "

"The staff in particular were great. Welcoming, courteous, friendly but professional, caring and thoughtful. My room was pretty good but I guess a little tired. There was no noise from the pub or other areas around. I slept well."

"Friendly helpful staff member on reception checked me in and she explained everything parking breakfast local amenities etc. I stayed in room 20 in the annex which was comfortable clean & quiet ( even tho it over looked the pub courtyard) the bathroom soap dishes & toilet seat needed replacing but that was my only gripe 😁… on the whole a lovely hotel in the centre of chertsey with attentive staff and a pleasant atmosphere… I did not eat there due to working late so can’t comment on the food "

"No kettle, very patchy wifi, but the hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant and it was as nice as it could be for the price paid. Overall happy with my stay. "

"Amazing friendly staff from beginning to the the end of our stay. They where very quick to fix the issue with our room key which was very impressive. The breakfast staff are lovely and food selection was great, hoped they has more dairy free options tho. The only con we had was the bed was abit small for two larger people and there was no air con in the room so it was a bit warm. All round we had a great stay for the rate we paid. "

"Clean room and a great breakfast. Didn’t like that a cheap rate meant you had to drag your bag a long distance up and down stairs. No elevator. Otherwise happy."

"Close to the centre of Reading, this is a lively nightspot with accommodation. Access was easy and although our room was on the first floor it is quite high up so noise from the bar (which closes at 11) wasn't an issue. Staff were very friendly and helpful; room pleasant; shower, bed linen, towels, toiletries, coffee/tea facilities all of a high standard. A pity breakfast not available, but lots of good places in the vicinity."
