"Perfect stay. Such welcoming hosts. Property was easy to find, so beautifully decorated, and very quiet. Our room, like the whole property, was pristine. So many thoughtful touches, like the torch next to the bed in case you use the bathroom in the night. Plenty of hot water for the shower and a really comfy bed. And breakfast - vegan, gluten, and normal options, freshly cooked, delicious. Will definitely stay again. Thank you"

"The Amble Inn was very comfortable and dog friendly - however, there were no signs to advise where dogs were allowed to go in the restaurant area so needless to say my dog & I were asked to move! There should be a sign to let customers know! Breakfast choice was good but luke warm. The toaster was not user friendly. "This hotel is “ rustic “ a little and it is a pleasure to stay there. The room was big and plenty of drawers and cupboards. The bed was really comfortable. The service at the meals was amazing. Food great. Not a huge choice but easily enough to choose from. Would recommend this hotel. The only drawback is the difficulty of parking as the town is small and there are few places to park near. "
