Great hotel with an extremely wonderful and kind staff. The hotel was very clean and my room was the perfect size for a solo traveler. The hotel was in an amazing location.... close to everything, including the train which is key when traveling to other parts of the country. I'd highly recommend this hotel, and would stay again!
"Small, friendly hotel with a convenient location"
Very friendly and helpful staff on reception, who responded very efficiently with minor issues and questions. Room fairly small but very comfortable and more than adequate. Sky TV was a good feature as was the free wifi.
The Panorama is a gem of a hotel for location, affordability, integrity, a great quality breakfast and stunning views from two roof terraces. A mini fridge in the room was a bonus for fresh milk, yogurt, wine, beer, etc. The friendly staff and original artwork gave an authentic experience of Florence.

"Immaculately clean hotel with outstanding staff!"
From the moment we arrived at Hotel Rapallo, we felt very welcomed. First, by Rino who greeted us very warmly and explained everything in terms of what we needed to know about Florence. Rino was kind enough to say he would open the bar for us to have a drink since we arrived quite late -- it wasn't normally opened at that time, but he was very accommodating and wanted to make us feel welcome. The other staff gave us great recommendations of restaurants and were overall very warm and generous with their time. I would definitely recommend Hotel Rapallo to my friends!
We enjoyed a two night stay here. It was easy to find (close to the train station) and it was great for exploring the city as we could walk everywhere. The staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel before we checked in (arrived in Florence at around 6am) without any problems. Breakfast had everything we needed. Room was clean. Overall it was a lovely stay.
Could not fault the hotel for anything-rooms were spotless, staff friendly and helpful, facilities as advertised. The hotel is close to a local bus route and only 10 minutes from the centre of Florence. Buses ran regularly and until late at night. The surrounding area is very pleasant and quiet with a nice little park and shops nearby. Would definitely stay there again.
