"Clean room, convenient parking around back once you get a key card, secure doors. Didn’t use the fridge, microwave, pool, gym or gas grill. Complete breakfast, hot and cold selections were all good. Friendly people, good location."

"Table in room was dirty. Water in tub didnt work. Did call front desk and they came up and fixed it in a timely manner and was very apologetic. No shampoo or conditioner in dispenser in tub. On a good note, beds were very comfortable and very good complementary breakfast"

"The pool had to be closed early, as the shuttle driver had to go to the airport to pick up pilots. Upon return, the employee, named Carlos, apologized to us, and graciously re-opened the pool for us to swim. He went above and beyond his duty. He made us feel like friends, and told us he was happy to help in any way. A great employee!!!! All the staff was friendly and caring. Made our stay enjoyable."

"We were originally booked at Capt Inn & Suites and since they were closing prior to our booked reservation, we were moved to Thomson’s Resort. Thomson’s exceeded my expectations. It was really decorated nicely decorated and felt homey. The view off the balcony of Boldt Castle was spectacular as well! My only two critiques was that our room was located up 26 stairs and we weren’t told that ahead of time. I have a bad back so the stairs weren’t helpful and we tried to avoid going in and out...

"I only stayed at the property one night, and came in after an event and left early the next morning. It was clean and quiet. Staff were helpful. There is a gas station/convenience store next door, and several other options for food right down the road. It worked out for a quick overnight trip. "

"We had a great stay while visiting our Fort Drum soldier. This hotel is very close to our son's home which was super convenient. They had a good breakfast with waffles, eggs and sausage. Also, cereal, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee. It was plenty for a good breakfast! They changed out our towels each day without having to ask. No complaints! "
