"We only stopped one night, en route from Aurland to Geiranger, but really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained. All of the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and tasty. In fact, in the nicest possible way, it was very homely. "Starting with the positive, the location is very good. Easy to get into the city or to and from airport/train station. As for the issues, communication was poor. This might be a result of the host, or the booking service (hotels.com), or my phone not working well out of the country. We did not get check in information until requesting it, wifi passwords were incorrect, and how to handle garbage/kitchen quirks did not exist. On top of this, none of the contact numbers worked so we could not...

"Came very late in the night, very difficult to find the place in the dark. The host stayed on the phone and navigated us to the place. Very decent place to stay for one night. "
