"The Algar is central to all the local bars, shops and restaurants. The apartments are basic and would benefit from updating but clean and provide a good base. We always chose a balcony view which allows us to eat and drink as we like if we don’t want to eat out, and certainly makes up for any basic amenities. Staff are always friendly and have been there many years . "

"A group of 15 of us recently stayed for my friends hen party. Stacey has been amazing with communication before and during our stay. She did a big food shop for us - getting all of our drink/ snacks/ water etc. The morning breakfast each day was fab and her and her husband also did us an amazing BBQ round the pool one day. It’s great for a big group who want to be together but want to have the convenience of their own rooms with fridges etc too. It’s a little bit out of the main town but Ubers...

"My parents in law had a fantastic stay at Wendy & Paul their place! They are amazing hosts, helpfull and make you feel at home.The facilities are great, a cosy country cottage, lovely garden, nice pool, in the middle of the Algarve close to all the sightseeing and hidden treasures the south of Portugal has to offer.Will be back!"
