Sicily South Coast Waterpark Holidays

A beautiful historic hotel. We had a suite with an amazing view. This area is off the beaten track. A gorgeous area to base yourself. Gorgeous beaches around area and on your way to San Vito lo Capo. Must see: salt pans in Marsala and Trapani, Trapani salt museum, SAN Vito lo Capo and some of the beaches on the way. Maybe if time some of the belvederes and grottos around as well. Only issue with hotel: this area is not very geared to tourism (good and bad) so no food available during siesta time. Restaurants open at 7:30 pm. We like to eat earlier (Canadian). Hotel does not offer laundry service or have little shops. We were off peak time, so maybe more open during summer. Overall it was an amazing place, highly recommend, just be aware of limited food/shopping options.

Great location, was a little concern about bedding, noise, and overall quality of room based on feedback but was pleasantly surprised with hotel. It is an old hotel, so something aren’t going to be perfect given the age but the location was perfect if you wanted to be close to major sites and restaurants.

We booked this as an overnight stop before flying out next morning. It was such a nice place that we regretted not using it as a base for travelling the area for a longer period.

The property was a good size and had a washing machine and spa. It was well presented. It was a little out of Cefalu and I would have preferred something a little closer or alternatively I stayed in the actual resort at another time and enjoyed the location more. A major advantage of the apartment is that it comes with access to resort areas and the beach is wonderful.

Spectacular! Beautiful, clean and modern hotel in a gorgeous mountain town. We loved our stay and can’t recommend enough this hotel. The spa is lovely and the rooftop terrace is fabulous. We will be back!

The staff was amazing and very helpful. They moved our room after our first night because the people in the room above us were so loud we could hear everything. The rooms are nice but have some drawbacks: in order to have your windows open to get fresh air at night, the room is flooded with all the uplighting surrounding the hotel. The windows have wooden shutters inside which means in order to block out the light, you must close the windows and then close the wooden shutters. Either turn off the floodlights at night or provide some curtains. The walls are also very thin and you can hear everything in the room next to you. We couldn’t get any of the TV apps to work so only had access to Italian TV. Did a fun (but very long) cooking class. The pool area is interesting but not inviting. It’s in a corner in the main area of the courtyard and faces 2 walls so there is no view. Also not very private. There is no lobby bar or any soft seating to relax anywhere. There is also not a set restaurant at the hotel - you have to do a cooking class or a private chef cooking for you (which would be nice but it’s in the cooking class/breakfast room so you have to experience it while a class is going on beside you). It’s a very pretty hotel but not really designed for the best experience for guests.

An absolute must if you are looking for somewhere to unplug and relax while looking out at the Mediterranean Sea. This resort exceeded our expectations in service, accommodation and experience especially during their quiet season. Service: The staff is incredibly helpful, warm and welcoming. Truly felt like a 5-star experience. Rooms: Beautifully decorated, clean, and wonderful views. Amenities: Pool is stunning (dont forget the beach chairs as well), gym is limited and gets the job done, and we looked forward to the delicious breakfast spread every morning (plus a view out to the ocean). The spa is also a really nice opportunity to unwind even more. Location: The resort is tucked away in a resort area, but Sciacca is ~10 min away by car and has great restaurants, stores + shopping. Overall, would come back here every year for holiday! Giordy and the whole reception team were wonderful.

Beautiful wine resort. Peaceful and very welcoming. Staff were lovely. Fantastic pool and terrace to have lunch/drinks, and the most lovely courtyard for dinner which was delicious. Great wine tasting . Cannot fault this property, unfortunately we only had 1 night there but we were unexpectedly upgraded to a junior suite which was amazing. Highly recommend !! 5*

Our rooms were immaculate, everything you could possibly want including the most beautiful beach is right at your fingertips. Alessia the beautiful young woman who cooks at breakfast was such a joy along with her coworkers. I highly recommend breakfast because of these sweet and attentive staff members. Also, the young lady who prepares cocktails by the pool, also outstanding. The front desk staff was very helpful as well. I can’t say enough good things about this property and the amenities. I also would like to mention the gentleman who helps at check-in to carry bags, he is so on top of things. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

Our stay at Villa Diana was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Dario made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for. The property itself feels like stepping into a beautiful Victorian home — elegant, charming, and full of character in every detail. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast. In the morning we were served a gorgeous banquet of homemade food, all prepared with such care and top quality ingredients. The presentation, dishes, and decoration were simply stunning and made the experience feel luxurious and special. We also loved the adorable animals around the property, which added even more warmth and charm to the atmosphere. Dario went above and beyond during our stay, even making a restaurant reservation for us with an incredible view of the Valley of the Temples. If you are looking for a unique, elegant, and authentic Sicilian experience with exceptional hospitality, Villa Diana is truly a gem. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Cristina
