"We booked this after travelling for 6+ hours. The confirmation was sent to us and no one was there to check us in at 2am. You shouldn’t allow people to book your hotel rooms if you’re unable to check anyone in especially at that time. I did not recommend and would not consider this property."
"The property itself is nice… a 17th century house with all the modern conveniences of an elevator, AC, and new en suite bathrooms. Squeaky clean. Tasty restaurant attached. The only downside is this place is surrounded by cinderblock apartments, so the views are not as atmospheric as the hotel itself. We kept our windows closed for the most part, and did not enjoy the balcony. We did enjoy the sounds of children from the elementary school next door. It’s not quiet, but it’s happy."

"We had an excellent stay. Everything was amazing, but the only tidbit is that it seems understaffed. We had to find someone to stock towels, clean trash, and the pool area."
"A 5 night stay during Easter was the relaxing holiday our family were after. Nearby were golden sandy beaches (inc. Scala dei Turchi) with sea-side restaurants, a supermarket, shopping centre or a short drive to the town of Porto Empedocle. The villa had everything we needed to relax after 2 longer days out to explore Agrigento Old town and valley of the temples, both around a 20 minute drive away. We tackled Mt. Etna (3 hr drive) on our way home as we flew from Catania airport (2hr drive). Our host was very accommodating. Nothing more we could ask. The weather typically warm and windy for this time of year and the villa a beautiful retreat."
Explore the great outdoors at Riserva Naturale Torre Salsa, a lovely green space in Porto Empedocle. Stroll along the seaside or visit the temples in the area.
