Everything was wonderful about our stay at The Moon Hotel and Spa. The room was beautiful and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and it was a great location for sightseeing in Florence. We especially appreciated the very generous breakfast that was always served efficiently and with a smile. We would definitely stay again.

A great budget hotel in a fantastic central location. Despite being so central it was in a side street so quiet at night. Rooms were cleaned daily and breakfast was buffet-style with cereal, fruit, croissants etc. I stayed there for 2 weeks and have no complaints at all. Excellent value for money.

The hotel is nice, modern styled and clean. Food in the restaurant is average at best. Across the street is a wonderful hole in the wall restaurant that knocks it out of the park. The room itself is the smallest I’ve ever seen. Don’t let the pictures fool you. There is nowhere to sit except on the bed. Nowhere to put more than one bag. If you are traveling with a companion and you have two bags, you are out of luck. The room is literally barely larger than the bed, with a small walkway around it. The open patio is nice but the chairs are extremely uncomfortable and simply not of much use. What is nice is the central bar, lobby and gathering area. I would only recommend this hotel only if you didn’t have another option or needed to be on this side of town.

The spa needs some maintenance and the overall vib of the hotel needs to be improved. It wasn’t a bad stay but there should be improvement at the property.

Amazing service and care. Especially Sara, Mathilda, Fredrico and Allesandro. The manager was so helpful as well. A must stay!

First time in Italy and what a great introduction to Florence with this great hotel in the middle of this vibrant city. The staff was fun and amazing giving good advice where to dine at traditional restaurants that is walking distance. The best part is the upstairs indoor outdoor breakfast area with good selection of pastry, eggs, bacon etc even fresh honeycomb honey u can spoon it right out. In the evening outdoor terrace serves drinks and cocktail overlooking the city of Florence for a beautiful sunset. The elevator was a bit small and if u took the stairs was a little confusing but that was part of the charm and character of this hotel that made it special. I truly felt like i was experiencing Italy in this hotel and that's what makes traveling most enjoying.
