The front desk did an excellent job under the circumstances. There was a huge concert at the Shoe that night. We arrived at 3:30 and the check in line was wrapped out the door. Unfortunately they only had 2 elevators working so after check in, you had to wait in another line for the elevator. We had booked a room with 2 beds. When we got to our room, it was a king, for 3 people. We weren't going to wait in the line again to get into another room as there was still a line of 50 people waiting to check in. We were able to let the front desk know to just send up pillows and a blanket and we'd make do. By the time we returned, the pillows and blanket had been delivered. The front desk were champs that night. They did let us use the service elevators which eased some of the frustration of waiting. Management should have anticipated and planned better. The room was a typical hotel room. Nothing special. It wasn't dirty but wasn't spotless either. If pressed for a night's sleep and this is what was available I would stay again. We didn't use any of the other amenities.

When we arrived we were told our room wasn’t ready yet, even though check in was at 4:00 pm and it was 5:30pm. The staff was very apologetic and made sure to get us a room as quickly as possible. Once we got to our room we noticed it hadn’t been cleaned very well. There were hair balls in the bathroom, and dirt on the floor. We were in a rush so we didn’t have time to ask for a new room, just needed a place to put our things. We also noticed the walls/doors are extremely thin and you can hear everything happening outside of the room. Lastly, we were abruptly woken up by housekeeping knocking on other peoples doors/our door and loudly saying “housekeeping”. Very expensive for such a small room that hadn’t been cleaned very well.
