The room was not pleasant or comfortable. It had nothing but two single beds which were past their best. There was no wardrobe, drawer of even a shelf to put clothes - nothing but a rail with some hangers. There was not even a chair to sit on. The cups in the room were not always replaced with clean ones and tea/coffee not replenished - guests should not have to request this service from reception themselves. The room is basically no better than a down market hostel and is far from the expectations of a four star rated establishment. Very disappointing accommodation, and the cost of my stay can absolutely not be justified. I would not recommended this hotel to anyone.

My daughter and I spent 4 nights at the Waterloo during our recent visit to Dublin. Great location with easy access to transit, clean and quiet, great staff. Beautiful decor. Highly recommended.

A lovely hotel! The staff were very welcoming and always had a smile ! Room was very nice with two large double beds. No shower curtain in the bathroom which was a bit odd ( and messy ) but hey that’s just a small thing. Breakfast was incredible ! One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Would love to go back and visit again

The venue is fantastic and beautiful , the hotel needs a bit of TLC , we had a nice suite on the 5 floor , it was spacious a great bed , the balcony was big but past 4 pm it was in the cooking fumes from the kitchen, the carpet in the room need changing , the fire place could not turn on and the was no minibar nor a functioning refrigerator. In the bathroom there is a nice shower and a separate bathtub, however the only hand held , in the bathtub did not work at all. Overall a very nice place , friendly staff and beautiful venue but a bit run down for a 5 star hotel.
