Lovely experience for my first time in NYC

Great place to stay at. Would definitely come back again.

The man at the front desk needs to take some hospitality courses. I saw in a matter on 3 interactions (the guests in from of me, me and a person after) how he was dismissive of their questions lied when asked about easy things like issuing two door key cards for convenience and speaking over guests specially females to the point I had to intervene. The couple in front of me (after I had to come back down because the room I was checking into had a door lock with a dead battery) asked on multiple occasions if they only got one key and said “really just one key” and he said yes, when minutes before I had gotten two keys and I was there alone. When it was my turn, told him about the keys not opening the doors, and when the guest behind me chimed in that it was already her third attempt use the key who no luck. At which point, he proceeded interupt her and kept speaking over her until I stepped in and asked the man that all she wanted was asking what the solution was and how long the technician would take to open her room. For me, he attempted to keep me in a room which I couldn’t even get walk into because they door lock already had a dead battery. He proceeded to move me to another room which had older furniture and a full size bed instead on the queen size I had booked.
