At nearly 10 dollars usd per persons eyptian equivalent, it would have cost our family 70 dollars a day to swim. My kids love swimming so this may be a pass next go to egypt. otherwise it was a nice property and we really liked the room and the close walking distance to a grocery store! (1 review) Modern hotel, spacious and luxurious room, spotlessly clean. Staff always very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was basic, but had a good selection including pancake, omelet and a yogurt. The swimming pool and outside dining area gave great views of the pyramids, although the pool was too cold to venture in for a swim (this was January, might be different in the summer). The location was ideal for the Giza Plataeu, with the entrance only a couple of minutes walk around the corner, and reception always happy to provide taxis or arrange trips for you. Although advertised as having a restaurant and bar, there was neither in the hotel. The manager arranged for pizzas to be delivered to our rooms one evening which i believe were sourced externally.
