We could not use the facilities with the swimming costumes/shorts we had, we were advised to buy the suitable items at the pool. (31 reviews) We had a great time in La Toussuire for a cycling holiday - the hotel was basic and no frills but clean and comfortable. Check in/out staff were efficient and well organised but not friendly. Be prepared to be given a pack of sheets to make your own bed, do an inventory of contents, clean your apartment thoroughly and have to have it inspected before check out. Strip all beds and take sheets laundry down to the basement etc etc. No toilet roll, cloth, washing up liquid or anything at all in the apartment so take anything you need. Some others had more mixed reviews, but I think was good on the whole. We stayed in the hotel for our 3 night stay. Any more nights and we may have gone into town for a change of scene. The best was the staff. Super friendly, helpful, organised and just great to be around. They really made the trip for us. They sorted ski passes and taxis to/from the airport with no fuss at all. The hotel is really close to ski schools and nursery slopes, and some of the rooms were well set up for older kids (say 8 years plus). We were an adult only group, but I'm not sure how good the hotel itself would be for young kids in terms of things to do in the hotel. There were a couple of babies around when we were there, so definitely fine for them to be there. Thanks again to all the staff. We will definitely be back - brilliant stay!
