I loved the location. Beach right there. Several eating and shopping places within walking distance I would have like complimentary or even paid to use water in the room. Replacing soap would be great.

Went to this resort Aug 13-18: Sonia was great - she was one of the servers at Enid’s, Margaret at the spa was amazing and the lady that works in the gift shop was very helpful and kind. The resort was clean and well maintained. There was entertainment every night and the food was really good. There was enough food to eat throughout the day, including from the food truck. Alcoholic drinks start at 10am and you can ask for anything you want and make it a double. Overall the staff were very nice and welcoming. I would visit this resort again.

Whilst the location right on the beach and sea view from each room was lovely, the hotel is very tired and needs a makeover. Breakfast was poor and my overall experience was disappointing

When we arrived there, after 10 minutes,my wife and I immediately went back to the front desk(a table with someone sitting) to tell them that we’re not staying. The place was misrepresented. It was an are where a few people congregate to drink and the swimming pool looked like the water was stagnant, not clear and when we went in the room some of the towels had spots in them. We call Expedia and they said that Socco would not reimburse us. Not fair since we didn’t stay and didn’t use the facilities. It was around $3,000. Expedia,could you please look into the matter for us? We should get at least half a the money back. It is a lot of money to let go like that. Hope to hear from you. You have my email address. Thanks

Amazing Stay — Don’t Let the Negative Reviews Scare You! We had such an amazing stay at The House! Before coming, I was honestly a little nervous because I had read some negative reviews, but please ignore them — our experience was completely different and exceeded our expectations. The service is truly what makes this hotel so special. Every single person we interacted with was lovely, welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. The staff really made us feel taken care of throughout our entire stay. Even though there is only one restaurant, the food was great! There was something different every day, so it never felt repetitive, and we really enjoyed everything we tried. Overall, the combination of the incredible service, wonderful staff, great food, and relaxing atmosphere made this a 5/5 stay for us. I would absolutely recommend The House and would happily stay here again. If you’re nervous because of some of the reviews like I was, don’t be — we had a wonderful experience!

We were guests of sugar bay for three nights in late August. Overall, the experince was positve.The location is ideal, food was good, and staff was generally helpful. But there were some things for improvement. I wasn't aware that you could only make a reservation to premium dining once for every three nights. I wish this was more explicit in the booking. Also,
