Rhine Valley Pet-friendly Holidays

The staff was very helpful and friendly upon check in. They held our luggage for us when we arrived before check in time. We were provided a free transit pass to explore the city. The hotel was very modern and well kept. The air conditioning was a bit weak with the full length windows facing the sun most of the day, even with the curtains drawn, it was very warm in the room. Would definitely stay again, just maybe on the cooler season

If I were able to give 10 I would. BRAVO BEST WESTERN for not deviating from your excellent standards across Europe. Each and every BW we stayed in had the same excellence. Here are the hilites for this hotel: -Friendly, multilingual and very responsive, superbly considerate and kind staff. Tremendously welcoming Reception. Helpful and collaborative would be an understatement. - Extremely close to the train station, 5 mins tops! - Reception area is well designed. A wet bar, and a lot of sitting room, lemon water, cake available if you need to wet your throat. - Great breakfast !! - I would stay at this hotel again and again.. Thank you.

Unfortunately, my stay at 7Hotel & Spa in Illkirch-Graffenstaden was defined by a sharp disconnect between online marketing and the physical reality on the ground—salvaged only by helpful front desk staff after a necessary complaint. The Arrival and Initial Room Assignment: While the hotel advertises a modern, contemporary wellness experience, the property itself feels noticeably dated. The exterior and common areas lack the crisp, fresh atmosphere shown online, looking stuck in a previous era of hotel design. The issue became critical upon checking into my initial room. Rather than a modern space, I was assigned an old, unrenovated unit in poor condition: Stained Carpet: The flooring was heavily worn with prominent, unhygienic stains. Dated Decor: The room featured scuffed, aged furniture and outdated lighting fixtures. Mismatched Standard: The space lacked the clean, bright ambiance promised in online listings. Unwilling to stay in an unacceptable room, I returned to reception to raise the issue. The receptionist handled my complaint professionally and efficiently, offering an immediate room transfer without pushback.

Overall decent. Got a free upgrade for a bigger room (small suite) but the layout was a bit odd and i was expecting better interior design from a five star hotel. We didn’t went to the complimentary spa so couldn’t comment on that - remember to bring swimming suits if you want to enjoy that perk.

Very chic hotel with beautiful pool both inside and out. Restaurant food was exceptional. Staff very friendly. Nothing negative to say.
