(105 reviews) A short few day stay with family to visit Kosice. Hotel is clean and tidy with all the basic amenities you need. Staff are friendly and helpful at reception, also in the restaurant (for breakfast). There isn't much to do around the area but we had car rental so it was easy to get by. Only downfall is room cleaning - they don't clean anything - only just fold your bed, no change of towels, didn't clean the cups, no top up of tea/coffee either. Overall was a good stay. (69 reviews) Good food and good spa! It is dated and there is no ventilation of any sort in the room. No A/C so you’re forced to open the windows and somebody in the middle of the night, parked across the parking lot and blasted their music and talked all night, but it echoed across the entire building so it sounded like he was literally outside our window and they stayed out there for two hours and nobody took care of it so be cautious that when you open your window, you’re gonna hear everything and you’re gonna have to open your window for any sort of ventilation so it doesn’t make any sense. The carpet is extremely ugly and probably 40 to 60 years old or at least it looks like it and much of the outside wood looks like it’s in good condition but when you actually touch it, it is extremely rotted and Termite infested and needs to all be replaced. They probably need to spend a couple hundred thousand dollars redoing the place. It’s in decent shape but it needs some work.
