Staff were friendly. I did not eat breakfast there, so no comment. Clean room. Jacuzzi outside was not that great location

Breakfast was wonderful!

The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. We opted for the Sapphire suite with access to the hot tub. (side note- this is advertised as being private, but it is on a shared balcony with no dividers). We also chose to include breakfast and that was wonderful. There were many hot and cold food options and a good variety of beverages as well. Great offering especially when traveling with kids. You should absolutely visit the spa if you get a chance. It was the best way to end our trip. I was absolutely impressed by the kindness of the staff- Anna at the front desk and Robert with maintenance in particular. Anna did everything she could to assure we had a wonderful stay and Robert was incredibly kind and helpful. They really made the stay exceptional for us. I would ultimately return because of them. You can stay at a nice hotel anywhere, but the staff is what makes this place stand out. Thank you so much for that.

The staff was amazing, the lobby beautiful, the room well appointed. The spa hot tub was dangerous: There is a pool ladder that was falling apart (the top step was loose, the rails when I grabbed them came up out of the stone they were mounted in!). The first step of stone was almost knee height above ground, difficult to get on to. It was also polished stone which made getting out with wet feet extremely dangerous. I am clueless as to what architect would have specified such a bad design and shocked that it hadn't been addressed as it is a lawsuit (or worse) waiting to happen. I did report this to the front desk, there should be real matte steps in and out.

Room is big and clean. Hotel staffs are friendly. It is listed as location for pick up on most tour provider. The only downside is location. It is not center, need to walk 2.4 km to downtown Reykjavik, but bus stop is close by. Only 1 Indian restaurant across the street. Grocery store is within 10 minutes walk.

The apartment was clean and spacious, it was a wonderful spot to stretch out, reorganize and relax for a few.

Excellent breakfast with many fresh items. The kitchen has all the utensils for a quick meal. Some salt, pepper, and cooking oil would make it even more convenient. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Room was a little small but a bargain for the price paid. Parking was never an issue for me as I always got a space the bakery below was wonderful but dangerous bonus! Perhaps a 10-15 minute walk from the town.
