The Hotel and the team amazing. Great rooms , very good bar prices. The breakfast is the best I've seen in a long time

My daughter’s dirty clothes—placed directly next to her travel bag on the floor—went missing during our stay. We lost hundreds of dollars in high-end activewear, including a Lululemon jacket, a Vuori set, Alo socks, and a Vuori halter. When I reported it, front desk staff claimed housekeeping "accidentally tossed" the clothes into the trash and that the refuse had already been collected. They refused to show camera footage to verify who entered the room, denied any theft, and insisted it was my mistake for leaving clothing near the bin. Considering how small the room trash cans are, it is completely unreasonable to claim a full wardrobe's worth of bulky clothes was mistaken for garbage. Management took zero accountability and offered no compensation or reimbursement for our lost property—they simply comped a single breakfast. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of responsibility and security here. I would not recommend staying at a hotel that takes so little care of its guests' personal belongings.

Quay 17 was one of the highlights of our trip to Bruges. The restoration of this historic building is exceptional-they've beautifully preserved its character while creating luxurious, spacious, and incredibly comfortable accommodations. Our room was immaculate, the air conditioning worked perfectly (a huge plus during our stay), and the elevator made traveling with luggage effortless. Hans and Tamara are outstanding hosts who truly elevate the experience. They took the time to share the history of both the building and Bruges, offered personalized recommendations on what to see, and even helped with reservations when needed. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome.

Great location, quaint property, unfortunately no air conditioning, the fan was helpful but didn’t cool room down. Lots of stairs so keeps you fit. Staff not around after 5pm til next morning, but no problems with self check in. We parked at suggested free parking (5 mins away)
