Sand Island Luxury Holidays

Only stayed one night before a cruise. It was fine for that. Was a block away from the beach and there was a lot of street noise. It didn’t feel like a beach resort. It’s an old hotel that has recently renovated but still felt old. Not a drop of shampoo or shower gel in the bottles on shower wall. Unfortunately I didn’t find out till I was in the shower. A nail or carpet staple in transition band from foyer to room punctured my toe. The food in the Appertivo restaurant on street level of hotel is amazingly good and well priced. I ordered octopus ceviche, gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream sauce and meatball with curry sauce. I used my Expedia food credit there and would have gone again if I stayed another night.

The room was kept clean, a very good location, I also liked that the hotel provides beach towels and chairs. I recommend it.

Super convenient location, lovely pools and beach

Amenities were nice (especially the pool). Check in area was definitely 5 star worthy. Howevee, rooms desperately need an upgrade

UNREAL how amazing this resort and staff was. Booked the day of arrival and they were extremely accommodating/ staff was helpful and polite. Went above and beyond for us. Everything was perfect i wish we stayed longer. Will be back and will only stay here!
