Outdoor swimming pool was great, but good if it could open later in summer. Main bar and entertainment were great for kids, but drinks were far too expensive - there's just no need for it! Arcade was hit-and-miss. Lots of machines didn't work, but never anyone around to help when you needed them. The only thing I would make everyone aware of is that car park isn’t on sight of the hotel but at the opposite side of the road through an alleyway and it’s very small so we weren’t able to get a space so had to pay for the long stay car park which cost us over £10 in all and it would have been a nice gesture if the hotel offered to compensate those who can’t get into their car park. "The hotel itself is looking a bit tired but our room was spotless and clean. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The buffet breakfast was hot and tasty. The location is amazing. Fantastic place to stay if u don't want to spend loads of time in the hotel."
"What a lovely stay run by a lovely couple. A quirky friendly B&B within easy walking distance of town ( a little up hill on the way back) Beautiful garden full of interest. A perfectly cooked breakfast in the morning made using good quality produce. Along with cereals, yogurts and juice. Homely and clean. You really felt like a guest rather than just another number moving through. They have two small friendly dogs but kept them out of the way for a guest who felt nervous around dogs....

Luxurious 1-bedroom apartment in wonderful Cowes on the High St near the harbor"We had a great stay in Alexander Pike’s one bedroom flat in Cowes. The property could not have been situated any better. It was in downtown Cowes on the pedestrian zone. The grocery store and bus stop were directly across the street from the flat. The walk from the ferry was one minute. The apartment was spotless. The appointments were perfect. Everything we could have wanted was provided. We definitely will stay here again when we return to the Isle of Wight."
