Manager was very helpful and chatty I would recommend the Colonsay Hotel for shorts stays , not because there is anything wrong with it , the staff , ir the island but it is a small island and there is only so much you can do. We really appreciated the local cheese, meats, and other food items. everything was very clean and well thought out with an extremely comfortable bed and high quality linens. Our only issue is we could hear the floors creaking often and loudly from the room next-door. And with the wall being in common with bed headboard, it made for a noisy night until around midnight when the neighbor settled down. The rooms were wonderfully furnished and the attention to detail throughout the property was evident at every turn. The grounds, in particular the walk to the beach, were well done and drew us in for regular strolls. Didn't play golf this time, but have in the past . . . highly recommended.
