(297 reviews) Overall the hotel was set in lovely grounds but first impressions were poor as the man at reception who greeted us was lacking in any communication skills. He asked us immediately if we wanted spa access, then a coffee machine then finally access to a workable safe (all at further expense) which made check in disappointing. He misdirected us and then didn't offer any assistance to get to our accommodation which was 10 mins away. The room was comfortable but tired and smelt of drains often. (187 reviews) The room was nice and clean. It appeared to be an older building, but well maintained. The door locks were finicky to figure out. The room was very spacious for our family of four. I was surprised that the room safe key cost an extra 2€ a day. We came in March and unfortunately the pool wasn't open yet, but it looked like it'd be a lot of fun. Our fridge wasn't working and when we told the staff, they were very quick to fix it the same day. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would to stay here again.
