Rooms are basic but clean and air-conditioned with a fridge. Comfy beds. It’s a 20 minute walk to the resort centre and well positioned to see the Castello Aragonese. You have to wear a swimming cap in the pool and you can get them from the pool bar for 4 euros. It was disappointing to be asked to leave the pool one afternoon at 5pm after just getting back from a day out, so that they could prepare it for a party for a staff member- no apology either- not very acceptable in my opinion. Our room was down and up quite a lot of steps - not all accessible by a lift- so do check if you struggle with steps . If you want to change your pool towel it’s 4 euros each time. Taxi from the port was 20 euros for a 10 minute journey.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, despite its distance from the city center making commuting challenging.

Old school Italian hospitality with modern touches throughout. Lovely thermal pools and spa. Thoughtful and helpful staff. Good breakfast and coffee, eaten on terrace. Very clean. Daily beach towel provided in room. Clay tennis courts cam be booked too, arrange ahead. Location is excellent in Lacco Ameno. Daily passagiata is easy. Entertainment in the evening. Close to beach and thermal baths. Staff welcoming and made a difference. Bus/taxi nearby. Many patrons return annually. A treat for us in Ischia.

The cutest room, with an amazing view and large terrace, could not recommend enough this place!

I have traveled all over the world and this was by far the worst hotel I have ever walked into. The outside of the hotel looks nice, but the photos on the site are very deceptive to what the rooms are actually like. The place needs torn down and severely renovated. Bugs in the bedding and unclean/wet floor. It was so bad that I walked into the room set my stuff down and booked another hotel right away because there was yelling in the hallway and didn’t feel safe. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE... The room smelled like mildew and the balcony is free access for anyone that also has a balcony. The door lock was eaten away by insects or something and wouldn’t lock properly. If safety and cleanliness are important to you, do not book here.

Staff was exceptional. They were very attentive for rides, breakfast and courteous at all times. I would definitely recommend staying here.
