German Alps Kid friendly Holidays

The worst thing about this hotel is the parking it's a nightmare. there is no clear instructions how you could open the gate to get into the hotel. it turns out there is a code and this code changes every hour. also the staff won't be there after 10 pm so basically you are stuck the entire night.

Parking is not on the property. You will have to park 5 minutes of walking away which is not bad, unless you have lots of luggage. AC unit doesn’t seem to work. Overall, the location is not bad.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were a good size. Location was excellent for sightseeing. Rooms need some updating, wallpaper peeling.

Clean room, staff was very knowledgeable and friendly

Once we got past the check in process (had to scan/submit EACH persons passport) since we were last minute booking, and I had to do this crammed in a taxi with my party, we really liked the keyless use of the unit. And keyless use of the supply closet (we always need an extra blanket). The room was definitely different. There were two divided rooms, which was great, as we were traveling with our adult daughter. The only downside of that is that the toilet is in one room, and the shower sinks and “bathroom” in the other. In the end, though, it did not detract from our stay. The other quirky thing is that the bathtub is located at the foot of the bed in the bedroom. We never got to use it, but somehow my husband managed to kick the water valve on in the middle of the night. turning on the water full blast and making me jump out of a dead sleep. The hotel location was great, and they also left us 4 cartons of water, which as you know, seems to be a premium in Europe. Being from Arizona, we sure did appreciate this! (Though they would not give us more) The restaurant (Cosy Cafe) at the base of the hotel was also very cute, quaint, and delicious! Overall I really liked this place.
