Brighton and Hove Honeymoon Holidays

I booked the cheapest single room because I was paying for myself at a conference, for 4 nights. Although the booking had stated the bathroom was not ensuite, I found that the toilet was down 2 flights of stairs, not easy for night-time needs.There was a shower and a basin in the bedroom, which was very cramped. My main problem was the lighting as I prefer to read in bed. On first night I found the supplied reading lamp too dim and the overhead light had one non-functioning bulb. I informed the manager next day and this bulb was replaced. But nothing was done to replace the dim bulb on the reading lamp to my frustration for the remaining 3 nights. The manager seemed to be on his own the entire weekend, both cooking and serving tables at breakfast, and managing the reception desk, which meant I could not easily have a longer conversation with him about the defect. This hotel is well situated near a street with lots of places to eat.

Great funky hotel, retro hotel in beautiful building, I absolutely loved this hotel, great shopping and I could see the sea from my balcony, close to everything, shops, pier, bus stop, 15/10, loved loved everything.
