Location was great / the hotel was reminiscent of the era it was built - beautiful

Nice central and well kept hotel on the higher end. Quick and friendly valet parking though pricey ($58/night) - we got free valet however through an Expedia benefit. Restaurant and front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

Without going into long detail about how nice this hotel is…the most important item you should know is that we would not hesitate to come back here. 5 stars in all aspects.

The location is outstanding! Walkable to all the main attractions. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Housekeeping came in twice a day - once to clean and make up the bed and a second time to turn down the bed -ready for a good nights rest!

If your planning on visiting the Charleston area and want a really nice resort style hotel then this is the perfect place. We visited for a week and it is in a really nice area with everything just a few miles away. It’s in Mount Pleasant not Charleston but the historic district is right across the river and you can get there by water taxi or the resort has a van that runs all day long into the night for free and it’s only a ten minute ride or just drive yourself there’s plenty of parking at reasonable prices and it’s a very walkable historic district.

We had a slight hiccup with the room due to a housekeeping issue but it was immediately resolved and we were moved. The staff is absolutely amazing here and they go above and beyond. We had breakfast and drinks at Bar Julian and it was great. We took advantage of the free ride into town which was a plus! Amanda’s map was so well thought out and we really got an opportunity to really see the town. Stellar service from Amanda, MaKayla, Kevin, Justin and the sweetest bartender in the pool area which I forgot to get her name. Although Thompson is a little bit out of the way, we were able to navigate it with no problem and would happily return.

Amazing place to stay in Savannah! Would definitely come back here again. The bed/pillows were so comfy! The room was spacious and the rooftop pool was a highlight!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds were amazing, mattresses and the pillows were super comfortable. The coffee shop on the property was excellent and a great bonus during our. We would stay here again!

The outdoor pools were nice… but they close at someone’s meaning of dusk?? But had loud music going in the pavilion til’ 11:00pm. Because of a wedding party. Whys isn’t the pool open til’ 11:00 when quiet time supposedly starts. A resort with beach access should have chairs and umbrellas for guests. Not here they nickel and dime you on rentals. The cabana bar at the pool closes at 4 for food and 5 for drinks and drinks are way over priced for what you get. Food was ok. Restaurant was a little over priced for limited menu. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. Staff were all awesome. They need to to better at their pricing for the stay if they want rental fees. Personally we like sitting poolside at night with a drink, relaxing and visiting. Not here you are SOL after dusk. Probably will find another place next time.

Room and all facilities were clean! Made vacation great!
