Great small resort with all the staff very very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and with lots of variety and prices we good value for the quality We would love to come back another time

The hotel was very nice and modern, with excellent facilities and easy access to the ocean. Everywhere you looked there was a beautiful view. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide array of choices from different cuisines, so there was something for everyone. The reason for the 4 stars is mainly due to the check-in process and the behaviour of some other guests around the pool. Our check-in took a very long time, with little communication about whether our room was ready. We had to wait around an hour after the stated check-in time before being given our room, and I had to ask multiple times for an update before eventually being told it was ready. As the hotel is quite a distance from the main town, there wasn’t a great deal to do while waiting, so better communication would have made the experience much less frustrating. My only other criticism was the pool area. As this is a 5-star resort, I would expect it to be somewhere guests can relax. Some children were repeatedly jumping into the pool and causing a lot of splashing, resulting in guests and their belongings on the surrounding sunbeds getting wet. I completely understand children having fun, but a little consideration for other guests would have been appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the views are amazing, the facilities are excellent and the breakfast was a highlight. With a smoother check-in and more consideration around the pool, it would have been a 5-star experience.

I stayed here with my son last week. The hotel is in a perfect location, right in town close to great places for dinner and tour bookings. The hotel is very clean and neat with an incredible view of the harbour from the pool area. The hotel staff are SO lovely and helpful. We had to order breakfast online each day and indicate the time. They do make up breakfast boxes if you have an early tour, we had a small mishap with this so double check your order at reception the night before. Room was terrific, on the smaller side but nice and clean with small balcony. WhatsApp is a good way to communicate with reception as there isn’t a phone in the room. Great air conditioning. A number of steps up the front of the hotel, but porter always on hand to help with bags. Overall we loved the place and if we returned we’d stay here again. Try the Italian restaurant next door👌Our photos won’t upload, but the place has a light and airy feel with natural tones and Italian vibes.

We've been very impressed with this place so far. The main downside is that it's a good ways outside of downtown Labuan Bajo, but honestly, that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's still a short drive or Grab ride into town and they offered pick up and drop off to the property included. The villa itself is beautiful. The private pool is immaculate and our kids loved swimming in the afternoon (after about 1PM the sun is in the west and leaves most of the pool aread nicely shaded). The kitchen area is great. Full fridge and freezer. Gas ranges (though we didn't use them). Bit TV in the living area (though we didn't use that either). We asked about laundry and they picked it up and did it for us with no issues. The bathrooms are excellent, with rainfall shower heads and plenty of very nice soap and shampoo. We did notice some ants in the villa but we mentioned it to the host and they immediately found the source and took care of it. The property is wonderful and the host has been super responsive so we feel very lucky to have found this place!
