We are loyal customers of the Fairmont Quasar Istanbul and have stayed there several times over multiple years. Our stay in August was absolutely delightful. Reception staff is exceptional. They are always very helpful and very competent. They remember us and treat us so professionally and kindly. The hotel grounds and reception are lovely and beautiful. The guest rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly maintained. Housekeeping ensures that the rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean and tidy. The location is close to bus stations and a metro station. Breakfast is amazing, with endless variety of delicious options. Everything is fresh and nicely presented. The breakfast service is excellent. Hotel management really cares. They go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We are delighted.

Clean room great breakfast

The guest rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly maintained. Housekeeping ensures that the rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean and tidy. Like’s: The bed was comfortable, the restaurant staff was amazing Nobu a must go but please stay somewhere else. First impression was smiles and bubbles. While checking in J was given the option of rooms. I had paid for automatic upgrades and am a Silver member a with the Ritz carlton when the conversion turned to the paid for upgrade, I was asked what my preferred option was. For context I was there with my wife and son and stated something with two rooms would be great. They were surprisingly able to somewhat accommodate and they gave me my old rate and a new rate. I was pleasantly surprised the new rate for a better room was a little less than what I had booked! I excitedly agreed and took the room! Day 5 came and I was hoping to extend for one more day. I called reception they called reservations and wonderful they can accommodate!!! The price however was more than double what I thought I was getting charged and that was understandable but not something I was really comfortable paying. I politely declined and added “Happy to stay if you can match my current price?” It was worth a shot I thought. This is when the shoe drops the receptionist says “o” it would be close to your rate. I exclaimed “the price you just quoted me is almost two times higher what do you mean?” Then the puzzle came together- I was being charged my booked price PLUS the added amount for an upgrade that was supposed to be included. The management did absolutely nothing for my situation.
