I liked the hotel and would come back, especially if the price were as good. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff very nice. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The only downsides were the air conditionaing which had an old device to control, and I didn't find the right way to manage it, had to ask staff to help and still wasn't sure how to operate it. The room wa very small, but that was absolutely fine for us. The mattress had springs, and they were not very comfortable, you could feel it was oldish.

We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived when we were given a glass of water whilst the staff got us checked us in and took our cases to our room and they also gave us a tour of all the amenities. Our room was kept tidy and clean during our stay with them even going into our room of an evening. Excellent pool and pool bar area. Easy enough to get a 15 minute water taxi to Venice Centre and it is also a close walk to Lido's beach. We asked reception about the water taxis, beach and airport journey and they give us easy to follow advice. We would definitely recommend this hotel and area. We preferred staying a 15 minute water taxi journey away from the tourist part of Venice. Even better that we saw a dolphin from the water taxi!
