Sicily South Coast Beach Holidays

The location was optimal. The rooms were older and therefore showers were fairly small and old. We had two rooms, in one room the tv didn’t work at all. No towels provided for the pool and shower towels were not aloud to be brought to poolside.

The Villa Athena is an amazing luxury hotel with an amazing location. With a direct view of Greek temples, as well as private access, sets this property apart from others. In addition the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We also enjoyed our private balcony with direct access to the property and pool area. The staff was welcoming and attentive. I like the size of the resort as it feels more intimate and personalized. We also took advantage of the amazing restaurant as well. We will definitely return for another stay in the future.

Full day of amenities if you wished to remain at the resort from the beautiful swimming pool, adult only beach, spa and daily activity calendar. You can walk for miles! Plenty of room at your choice of amenities. Complimentary buffet breakfast and dinner was outstanding. Food for every palate. Sciacca piazza was a short drive with beautiful views, restaurants and shopping. Returned to resort with beautiful live music beginning at 9:15 pm to enjoy a nightcap and sea breeze. Although this was an adult trip very family friendly. Will return if visiting west coast of Sicily again!

Beautiful hotel and pool located on the beach. Definitely recommend getting a sea view balcony because the view is stunning. I booked this hotel because the description said it was a 12 min walk to the Scala dei Turchi, it is much longer closer to 40 mins walking the beach. The restaurant dinner located onsite was okay and will do when not wanting to go anywhere for one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asking for information about the local tourist attractions. Very clean and well maintained.
