Clearwater-St. Pete Beaches Beach Holidays

This hotel is old and the rooms a bit musty. There is still only one elevator working. There is a new portion of the property called The Hall. Overall restaurants were pretty good but prices very high. Most of the amenities were available to use due to weather which was unfortunate bc we booked specifically for the water park on the ocean. I asked For a blow dryer and the man that brought it, walked right past my husband into our bathroom INSISTING we had one. We did not. The pools are small. The beach is pretty but if you want an extra umbrella it’s $30 extra a day. The woman that checked us in was quite rude. They expect a tip for everything. Buy a can of beer and bring it up to the register…tip for the cashier checking us out. The motto is just let go. I say Just don’t go. This trip easily cost us as much as a five star all inclusive in Mexico.

Really exceptional property. Only thing I didn't love was the elevators. Kind of confusing but got the hang of it.

The location was good. We could walk to most everything. Actually the hotel did not live up to the hyatt mark. Wasn't close to the hyatts I've stayed at before. It was old looking and the floor and carpet coming up. Would not stay there again. Much nicer places with same location. Frankly, I wouldn't go back to clearwater. Many more coastal places prettier and clearwater is strictly a tourist trap.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Luce. The hotel has a great location right on the beach, with beach chairs and umbrellas included, which was very convenient. We also enjoyed the pool and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. A great place for a relaxing stay in St. Pete Beach. We would definitely stay here again.
