Barbados Beach Holidays

I loved the location. Beach right there. Several eating and shopping places within walking distance I would have like complimentary or even paid to use water in the room. Replacing soap would be great.

Bad experience with the missing money in the room

Good Time. Nothing is exclusive. Staff were helpful. First floor rooms face the pool very close. Ice cream $10 dollars as well as drinks. Coconut Ray on the end of the beach. Restaurants are at least $20 and up for anything. Be prepared to walk a minute to 5 from your room to the pool and other amenities. The people here are very welcoming. They have some exclusive food certain nights that are not on the menu like $25 for jerk chicken or goat, you wouldn’t know unless you are outside. $9 dollar service charge for food to room.

When we arrived there, after 10 minutes,my wife and I immediately went back to the front desk(a table with someone sitting) to tell them that we’re not staying. The place was misrepresented. It was an are where a few people congregate to drink and the swimming pool looked like the water was stagnant, not clear and when we went in the room some of the towels had spots in them. We call Expedia and they said that Socco would not reimburse us. Not fair since we didn’t stay and didn’t use the facilities. It was around $3,000. Expedia,could you please look into the matter for us? We should get at least half a the money back. It is a lot of money to let go like that. Hope to hear from you. You have my email address. Thanks

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and very helpful, providing prompt assistance whenever it was needed. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and flavorful options to start the day. The beach was beautiful and relaxing, and the pools were awesome—clean, inviting, and perfect for both lounging and swimming.

Food was really good. Every evening some kind of entertainment. Right in Holetown close to everything. They have activities free and some you can book. Like a visit in a reggae bus trip speightstown for $7. Pool Clean, beach was great. Free catamaran for 2 hours.

Room was good, ocean facing ground level which is what we wanted. Staff were the usual Bajan friendly helpful people that they are. Only two small quibbles, second pool is more of a wading pool than a real one and the steak house had no real wine list. Other than that the food was great, different format every day, evening entertainment was enjoyable, bar staff friendly and helpful. Will certainly return.
