Helpful friendly staff. Food at the restaurant was fresh and plentiful. The location surrounded by green space is wonderful. Rooms and balconies a little on the small side.

It is a very nice place to rest and relax. Although this hotel may not be the most family-oriented option for guests with small children, we had a very pleasant stay. We visited for the weekend with our two year old daughter, and the staff was very kind, helpful, and attentive to all our requests. We truly appreciated their hospitality. Only a very small downside was that the bed was not the very comfortable I would expect in this hotel. Apart from that, we will certainly come back again :)

This property needs a one billion dollar renovation to be a 5 star hotel again.

There was no airco on the room an ventilation system with a lot of noice. Very old rooms . You need to close the toilet to use. Pictures on hotels.com not the same as what you get. Try to sell parking garage for 21 euro but in the street it is for free and a lot of space.

This is a beautiful place and located in a lovely area. Even without a car it was easy to get into Bamberg and to take bikes to the nearby adorable town. Our only complaint is that when we checked in the woman was not only not friendly, she was rude. At dinner when I asked about the wine, she almost yelled at me. I am well versed in what folks may say about people being cold or not friendly but this woman explained nothing when we arrived about the property or the pool, acted like we were bothering her, and then made me sorry that I asked about the taste of the wine. I should say that the rest of the staff was friendly and kind. It did mean however that we did not return for dinner. It’s really lovely but given how we were treated, I probably would go elsewhere. One doesn’t need to be treated poorly on vacation.

Both ourselves and 2 dogs had the most amazing overnight stay,the hotel and facilities were top class and the surroundings were just great for ourselves and the dogs ,we all had the best time would definitely recommend it,should we be passing by next year will most certainly stay over again,thankyou so much
