Rattlesnake Island All inclusive Holidays

I stayed here twice recently on a trip to Maine for one night, each time either arriving or about to depart my time in Maine. There were other people with me, and we had booked a total of 4 rooms each time. On both experiences the check in process was extremely slow. There was one person working the counter, and she worked at one pace-sloooow. The second time I stayed, I was in bed around 10:30-10;45 pm, primarily in bed early because I had a very early flight out, and needed to leave the hotel at 3:35 a.m. to get to the airport in time. As I was drifting off to sleep, someone knocked on my door, twice. When I answered the door, there were two people, a security guard and someone that I assume might have been a manager. They said someone had complained that they smelled cigarette smoke, and were checking to see if it was coming from my room. (I am 67 years old, and have never smoked a cigarette in my life.) They needed to come into my room to check for any smoking smell. I don't have a clue where the smoke was coming from, but, I can say for certain that I will never recommend this Holiday Inn, much less stay here again. Thank you Holiday Inn, for waking me up before my extremely early flight and trip to your airport. I would have told you this in person, but when I was leaving at 3:45 a.m., no one was at the counter, and I assumed that you were sleeping. I am glad that someone was able to do so that night.

Excellent, well-situated hotel. Front desk personnel were helpful and courteous. Sean and Simone were so kind in finding us the perfect room to suit our needs. Olivia at the bar in the evening was professional; we enjoyed our conversations with her. Great coffee-nook with perfect additions for a continental breakfast. Thanks to all who helped make our stay so enjoyable.

Such a beautiful hotel. Everything you need close to everything. Highly recommend!
