We recently stayed at Zel Punta Cana and had a pleasant overall experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely designed, making our stay comfortable and relaxing.
The pools were definitely a highlight—beautiful, well-maintained, and a great place to unwind throughout the day.
That said, the food was average and felt quite repetitive, with similar options offered daily. The service was also just okay—nothing particularly standout, but not bad either.
One downside was the beach—it’s a bit far from the main areas, and there weren’t enough sunbeds available, which made it less enjoyable at times.
Overall, it’s a nice resort with great accommodations and pool areas, but there’s room for improvement when it comes to dining variety, service, and beach convenience.
