This hotel is in an excellent location. The surrounding area is a little noisy, because you are so close to San Marco, which is a very busy area. However, you are also at an optimal location to get to and from Rialto, San Marco, Castello, and Canneregio neighborhoods very quickly. If you are arriving via San Marco vaporetto stop, you only have to cross one bridge with luggage, which is a huge help. The staff I interacted with were all very kind, professional and helpful. The breakfast is lovely and perfectly filling. I would highly recommend returning.

The hotel is beautiful and the decor is as far from bland as you can get. You really know you’re in Venice in this hotel. The best thing about staying at this hotel is the location - very quiet but only a 3 minute walk from loads of great bars and restaurants. The Cannaregio area is so lovely and feels far away from the heaving tourist heart of Venice, even though it’s only about 25 minutes walk away. The hotel also runs a shuttle boat 2/3 times in the morning, returning early evening. €8 pp.
The hotel is very relaxing. It’s not huge and busy. Breakfast is delicious. Staff are all helpful. Rooms well equipped. You can request anything you need online. We asked for an extra pillow that way and it came immediately! I was impressed.
