Pirin Mountains Adventure Holidays

From the moment we arrived, our experience was highly disappointing. The hotel is situated in an unpaved area with rough gravel roads, surrounded by an overgrown vacant lot. Upon arrival, there were no English-speaking staff members available at the front desk. Instead, we were greeted by a maintenance worker who appeared to handle multiple roles. While he was exceptionally polite, helpful, and welcoming, he spoke only Bulgarian, which made communication difficult.When we were escorted to our suite, we found that it did not match our reservation. The accommodation was in poor condition, outdated, and dusty. We requested a room change and spoke over the phone with an English-speaking manager. I explained that the room provided did not reflect our booking or the online gallery. Although she initially claimed we had reserved a standard suite rather than a deluxe, our booking confirmation clearly proved otherwise.We were eventually upgraded to a 'deluxe' suite that resembled the website photos. However, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The linens were significantly worn out, the towels did not meet proper hygiene standards, the room was only partially renovated, and the walls were stained.Given the poor location, lack of cleanliness, and management discrepancies, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Good breakfast, nice pool area. Staff has to work on a "customer-first" attitude. The hotel is a bit of a walk to shops and restaurants and feels a bit too remote off season. There was also a building site next door. It's worth booking mountain view for a better experience.

Outside pool water very cold and flies floating on surface. Inside pool smells of people sweat, the bottom of thr pool has dirt/dust residue and no smell of chlorine to indicate if the pool is regularly disinfected or topped up. Sauna is good when working. Breakfast is good, pastries could be fresher rather then packets products. The hotels was very noisy witg kids playing outside till very late in the evening (23:30) with out of control behaviour.
