Hotel is clean and quiet, but a little outdated. Cookies are a nice touch! Shower water was burning hot and we had to turn the handle to almost off to get it to cool down. Area around the hotel isn’t very exciting.

We loved our stay there! Excellent service and beautifully appointed rooms. Loved the covered space outside the room. Landscaping was lush; outdoor patio was inviting.

Matthew was awesome, had all the answer and was always there and helpful..

Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. Great location, close to wonderful shops and restaurants. Conveniently located by parking garage too. Highly recommend The Elliot!

You can’t beat location. It was perfect to walk around and explore downtown. They had bikes we were able to use as well. But we were surprised to see how outdated some parts of the hotel wells and our room especially. We were upgraded for a small fee but the room was dirty and for that price point we were disappointed.

Very classy, excellent and attentive staff and best location

Pros: right off 26. Very clean. Very quiet and super comfortable bed. Very nice suite with full kitchen at a very reasonable rate. Pet friendly as well. Nice pool and patio with fireplace and 2 grills - one gas, one charcoal. Cons: breakfast often ran out of many items before end of breakfast times and slow to refill items - but it was a busy holiday weekend. Microwave in breakfast area was broken and appears to have been that way for awhile, so no way to warm up items unless you went back to room. Some sketchy activity and drug activities nearby but they stayed away from guests.

This was a beautiful step back in time. If you are looking for perfection and pristine grounds, this isn’t for you. If you are looking for history, peace, and a quaint place to stay you’ve hit the jackpot.

Great distance to shops and CS campus. Hotel staff very friendly and excellent breakfast!
