There are a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants near the riverbank, including everything from regional French cuisine to pizza to Indian barbecue. There is also a supermarket in Wipkingen for anyone who prefers to self cater. Several museums, including the National Finance Museum, and a cinema are a short walk from Wipkingen. The neighborhood is served by several tram and bus lines as well as local and regional rail from Zürich Wipkingen train station.
