My stay here was simply amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly, very attentive and always went the extra mile! The room was small but lovely and the terrace view was beautiful. The pool was more of a plunge pool but was perfect since the property only has 4 rooms. The place was super quiet & private with spectacular views from the restaurant on-site!

Incredible views from all over the hotel. The staff was incredible. They treated us so well. Our room was gorgeous and had everything we needed. One of the best stays of my life. Would have loved to spend a month there.

The staff was "over the top" helpful and VERY friendly. It was our first time to Zihuatenajo and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious with incredible views and very comfortable. My wife and I stayed at the Espuma Hotel and Restaurant for eight days. We had a wonderful experience. We travel a lot and we have never had such wonderful and nice staff, from the person who greets you at the entrance of the hotel and restaurant, to the cleaning staff, waiters and waitresses in the restaurant, Omero who is responsible for security, and the wonderful Manager Alonso. His service in all areas is not just to please you but to help you in every way. What we find amazing is that each person greets you with a smile from their hearts. Also, the view from the hotel rooms to the restaurant is spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Thank you for your exceptional work and dedication. Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and serene property. The views and sunsets were amazing. We had breakfast every morning overlooking the bay and sailboats. Staff was attentive and friendly, food was delicious! Location was perfect for people that love to walk (although taxis are easy to find and inexpensive). Espuma is a halfway between town and playa ropa, with lots of restaurants in between. I highly recommend and hope to return soon.

This review is for Tentaciones since our room at Espuma was under repair. Staff service is amazing! It's quite a ways up the hill. We walked down and then taxiied back for the most part.

The view is killer, the service not so much. 1. No phone in the room, unheard of. 2. TV is tiny and not working, it took them three days to replace it with one that we had to configure ourselves (it was a ROKU TV), only streaming services most of them worked but some didn't since we were in MX. Just as small and since the room was so huge, so kind us useless. 3. We asked four times for additional pillows, and it took three days until we finally got them. The restaurant upstairs is excellent, and so is its sister Hotel Tentaciones. The owner, Carlos calls himself the Architect was very friendly, but that doesn't make up for the lack of responsiveness from the staff. Also, since it's surrounded by greenery, there are giant ants, salamanders, and many flying, biting insects. I counted 23 on myself. So five stars, I don't think so. Nevertheless, I would go back there equipped with Bug Spray and make sure that all is in working condition in advance.

Dear Biagini Marco We have taken the time to carefully read your comments and they have certainly created concern and uncertainty due to your previous and very kind comments you share through Expedia during your stay in which you said. - “The only thing I could say is it does need a few minor adjustments to be a 5 Star Hotel. The TV is minuscule for the size of the room and oddly located. On the other hand, you are not there to watch TV. Service is excellent, and food is terrific, the location and views are striking. Despite the minor corrections, I would come back here in a heartbeat and would recommend it.” About the things you are mentioning on this review: 1. No phone in the room; Yes, but instead of this, we have all communication through WhatsApp. 2. TV is tiny and not working; Tv was always working but was not a smart Tv, actually we got a smart Tv as you required it. 3. additional pillows: we provide 2 pillows per person (1soft and 1 hard pillow). As you said since we are surrounded by greenery it is common to see around some insects that not represent a danger, normally they show up at the sunset time, so we recommend keep closed the screen door. We are sorry you didn't have a good experience in this occasion. Looking for the opportunity to welcoming you again in the future. Respectfully

A Must in you bucket list
we had a Wonderfull experience,Carelina and Cutberto made our stay a unique experience. The Hotel has only 3 rooms , we where lucky to stay at the largest one, it has the most Wonderfull terrace, the view is INCREDIBLE, having coffee or wine here is indescribable, you would have to be a brighter to use the correct word to describe it. one of my best travels ever.

Our one-week vacation at hotel espuma was a dream come true. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful. The food is a delight. We would encourage all discriminating travelers to take advantage of this unique small hotel.

This is a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The view from our room and the view from the restaurant was picture perfect!! The complimentary breakfast was delicious!!

Absolutely recommend Espuma
If you don't stay here at least make a reservation for one evening in their restaurant. We found Espuma 2 years ago when it was just the restaurant. The beautiful location overlooking town and the bay is fantastic. The food was really outstanding. When we found that they had rooms we had to book it. Our stay was simply amazing. The staff are fun, friendly and can't seem to do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel, rooms, common areas etc are spotless. The hotel and restaurant have changed owners since we were last there. The menu has changed a little but the quality and service are still exceptional. The location is excellent, a 5 minute walk to La Ropa Beach and about 15 minutes into town. The common area for the rooms has a fridge to keep drinks and snacks cold. Breakfast was included in the room and morning coffee and breakfast pool side were just the best way to start the day. The ONLY minor thing to be aware of is that the steps around the pool and going to the rooms can be a little slippery with wet feet. We had to really think hard to come up with something even remotely negative. Deb & Charles

Encuentro la propiedad en excelentes condiciones. Las vistas a la bahía de Zihuatanejo son extraordinarias, tanto desde la habitación como desde el restaurante. Me hubiera gustado que la temperatura del agua de la pequeña alberca fuera más elevada. La caja de seguridad podría mejorar; aunque no me causó mayor inconveniente.

The best stay we've ever had in Zihuatanejo Since we live in NY, my wife and I´ve been coming 3 consecutive years to the paradise that is Zihuatanejo, the two first years, we stayed at 2 of the 5-star Hotels, and this third time we decided to experience the Espuma Hotel, hanging on the cliff, at our room we felt practically been flying over the waves, the view and the location are second to none, the service was always warm and friendly. Our Suite (the hotel has only 3 rooms) is really spacious, and its private big terrace with a small pool, sun chairs, and an outdoor shower, are the perfect combination to don´t want to ever have to leave! I must add that the food at the Restaurant is delicious and excellent service. I especially thanks Carmen for all her help during our stay. We can't wait to go back! Jason M

Es un lugar paradisiaco, con un excelente comida pero lo mejor es que tienes todo para prepararte tus alimentos y no salir del hotel, no lo necesitas, tienes vista, muy buenas instalaciones y lejos del ruido, perfecto para leer y descansar
